Llona Early Life

Michael Ajuma Attah, also known as Llona, was born in the year 1997. He was raised in a Christian household. Llona was raised by his mother and stepfather. Llona has had a love for music since his teen years. Due to the nature of his father's job, Llona became a traveler at a young age.

Llona Career

Llona's love for music started when he was a teenager. However, he started music proper in 2015 in Kano. He would usually buy forms to perform on stage in Kano. Life in Kano was tough for Llona.

During this time, his stepfather was an inspector for the Nigerian armed forces. So, at the slightest rumor of threat, they would flee to another state. At the time, terrorists were very active in the Northern part of Nigeria. As a result, there was no time to create music.

Not long after, Llona and his family settled in Kaduna. Llona loved Olamide's songs so much that he would rap every line to the kids in his area. Due to the influence Olamide had on him, he became a rapper too. Llona even released an EP titled "4 AM". This EP featured strictly rap songs.

It is important to note that his former stage name was "TooClassiq". Later on, he changed this name. The reason for this change was that a musician already had a similar name called "T Classic".  So he didn't want his name mixed up with that.

When Llona arrived in Lagos, he was amazed by the number of talents there. In a bid to get more exposure, he started applying for different music competitions. In 2017, he won the prestigious "Lagos Cool Breeze". Later that year, he contested for the TVC Drop or Rap Show. As you would expect, Llona contested as a rapper.

Llona then evolved into being a musician. He enjoyed writing songs, so he went to the mountain to write lyrics. Llona's life was not free from challenges. According to him, he felt alone whenever he was not with his cousin or sister. He also felt depressed after his former record label was about to crash.
